Heart Creek

Half Day Hike
Distance: 3km one way
Elevation gain: 64m
Time: 1.5-2 hours
Difficulty: Easy

Access:
Take Hwy 1 going West. Take Lac des Arcs 105 turn off. Follow signs to Heart Creek parking lot.

Experience:
This is a nice family hike. There is a bunch of wooden bridges that cross over the creek, and you can see people climbing up the rock sides which is cool. This hike just follows the creek and you can get a good view of Heart Mountain right next to it. At the end you can hear a waterfall and you have to do a steep climb to see the fall from above but Dad and I took the dangerous way and climbed up the creek to get into see the fall which was very worth it! It looks awesome! I ended up falling in the water and it is pretty deep and cold but my camera didn't get wet so that was good, but I got soaked. My pants and shoes were drenched and I had a cold walk back! All in all it was a good experience and I had a wonderful time with my parents.

The Parking Lot! There is bath rooms!
